A selection of over 50 structures across the entire Alpine range, introduced by a historical-critical essay and explored in depth through monographic factsheets, accompanied by rich iconographic material, largely unpublished. Located in extreme contexts from an environmental point of view, the "unmissables" condense multiple values: historical, mountaineering, geographical, landscape, architectural, technological, social. A collective heritage to be known and valorised, for conscious use and responsible development of the mountains.
