The long-awaited hiking and mountaineering guide to the normal routes to all the main peaks of the Brenta Dolomites: 170 peaks, many of which are little known and even less frequented, divided into cards with a detailed description of the approach and ascent routes via the normal route and any variants, times, difficulties, differences in altitude, color photos with the route, sketches of the climb for the most mountaineering peaks, detailed photos, historical notes and naturalistic information. The notes also relating to another 55 secondary and minor peaks bring the total number of peaks for which information is provided to 225. The three authors have meticulously listed them, giving detailed information for each one to reach the summit along the normal route. In addition to the easy hiking peaks, many of the Brenta peaks constitute challenging testing grounds even for experienced mountaineers, which often require tackling rock passages or even climbing along climbing routes. The peaks are part of: Southern Chain (Ambiéz Chain, Vallòn Subgroup, Fracingli Subgroup, Tosa Massif, Monte Dàino Subgroup, Ghez Subgroup) - Central Chain (Sfùlmini Chain, Cima Brenta Massif, Massif del Grosté) - Northern Range (Pietra Grande Massif, Sasso Alto Range, Sasso Rosso Massif) - Eastern Range (Campa Subgroup, Gaiarda-Altissimo Subgroup). The itineraries aim to lead to the rediscovery of both those normal routes which are often followed downhill after having climbed more difficult mountaineering routes, and excursions to peaks too often overshadowed by the fame of more attractive peaks.
