Malopasso

The third edition of Mapasso is enriched not only with recently created crags and routes, but also with a selection of the "classic" itineraries present in the Campania mountains. It describes 50 climbing sites between the Amalfi Coast, Positano, Palinuro and the Cilento Park. Year after year, climbing has slowly become part of these places and has also become a relatively important resource for the local tourist economy and a valid alternative to the crowded "classic" crags of central and northern Italy. You climb in wonderful places where climbing also means knowledge of places, people, the past and history. Here the physical pleasure of climbing is associated with the almost mystical dimension of unusual scenarios. The landscape changes radically if you move to the Cilento Park, Vallo di Diano and Alburni. The walls of Cilento have added value. The stone where you climb often mixes with the blue sea, Mediterranean scents, history and popular traditions. From above you can better perceive the ability of these places to provoke intense emotions.
