Il Cammino di Sant'Antonio

The itinerary starts from Camposampiero, the city of Sant'Antonio, develops in 23 stages and after approximately 450km reaches La Verna. The route includes passage through small and large cities (Padua, Rovigo, Ferrara, Bologna) and sites that are even less known and still immune to mass tourism, encountering wonderful protected areas, such as the Regional Park of the Euganean Hills, that of the Gessi Bolognesi and Calanchi dell'Abbadessa, that of the Vena del Gesso Romagnola and the imposing and spectacular one of the Casentinesi Forests. In addition to providing the essential information to undertake the pilgrimage and the detailed description of the itinerary to be followed stage by stage, the guide also intends to lead the reader to the knowledge of the saint who inspired it, still venerated today in every part of the world.
