With this second volume, the journey of the two authors continues through the snows of the Venetian Prealps. The territory now taken into consideration is among the most loved and frequented by hikers in the plains and beyond. Monte Grappa forms a large, high-altitude massif right next to the city of Bassano and strongly attracts people from Vicenza and Padua while Col Visentin can certainly be combined with excursions for the people of Belluno. The latter are then lucky enough to have, "a stone's throw from home", the magnificent woods and the stupendous ridges of Cansiglio and Alpàgo. Areas that are already very popular in summer but which in winter transform into true jewels for lovers of wild landscapes. Last but not least, the Cavallo group reserves an eastern side waiting to be discovered, also attracting Friulian mountaineers in winter hiking activities.
