Cento nuovi mattini

For at least thirty years we have been receiving suggestions from many quarters to take up the now very sold out Cento Nuovi Mattini again. This publication had earned the title of "cult book", whoever owned a copy considered himself lucky. On the other hand, the great changes that have occurred in the world of climbing, but above all on rocky or neighboring terrain, discouraged its updated re-edition, as this would not only have to update the contents in an exaggeratedly significant way, but as a change in general philosophy would be necessary. such as to distort its original meaning. So we opted for a reprint, in order to satisfy the many who were clamoring for it. We have corrected some small errors in the first edition but essentially, beyond a few almost insignificant changes in images, the contents have remained 99.99% unchanged. This choice has necessarily led to the current practical uselessness of this book: indeed we take the opportunity here to warn the buyer never to consider the indications relating to access, relationships, considerations as completely correct: all fixed and crystallized in 1981 That is, we ask you not to consider this book as a guide: in the same way you can read Horace-Bénédict de Saussure's book Voyages dans les Alpes without necessarily considering the information valid for the current climb to Mont Blanc.
