This has allowed the opening of many climbing sites with thousands of perfectly equipped routes. It is no coincidence that it is a destination for many climbers coming from many places in Italy and from all over the world. This guide describes many sites among those that have made, and are making, the history of sport climbing, such as Ferentillo and the entire Valnerina, Grotti and the Valle del Salto, but also many places that are recently attracting attention of all climbers, such as Subiaco and the Aniene valley, the Corno Valley, the Tiber Valley, the Sabina.
