This book proposes 23 hiking itineraries, which have as their destination the most characteristic, panoramic and interesting mountain pastures of this region where the following are produced and in many cases sold: Fontina, Aosta Valley cheese, serac, brossa, tome and small cheeses made from cow's and goat's milk. The itineraries, described in detail, are all easy and some quite short; on your return what you will bring with you will not only be a tasty mountain cheese but the discovery of a mountain landscape resulting from centuries of care by man and the meeting with mountain farmers and cheesemakers who are custodians of ancient knowledge.
