Il cammino di Santiago

The updated reissue of the guide to the most traveled and most famous route in the world which in 1987 became a "European Cultural Itinerary" and in 1993 a World Heritage Site. The guide covers the entirety of the “French” Way, from Roncesvalles in the Pyrenees to Santiago de Compostela, with the continuation up to Finisterre and Muxia, on the Galician coast. Two alternatives are also proposed to start the Camino: the one from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port (Cammino Navarro) and the one from Somport (Cammino Aragonese). The route is divided into 41 stages with detailed descriptions of the itineraries, information on useful services, restaurants, hospitables for pilgrims, local festivals, gastronomic specialities, monuments and points of naturalistic interest.
