A life spent "following the pace of the last". Don Tonino opened his home to the poor and migrants, fought with the fired workers of the Giovinazzo steelworks, founded reception and recovery communities for drug addicts. And he marched for peace: like in 1992 when with 500 other pacifists he reached Sarajevo under bombs and besieged by the Serbian army. An example that still lives today, among the narrow streets of Molfetta, the olive trees, the Baroque masterpieces and the dry stone walls of his hometown in the heart of Salento. A journey in 17 stages in "his" Puglia, to discover (or rediscover) that "priest with the apron" who has always accompanied words with concrete and human gestures.
