A guide to the best cycle routes in western Emilia Romagna, with maps, images and insights. A land rich in history and landscapes, Emilia Romagna has given birth to great cyclists and offers safe itineraries for all legs. The provinces of Piacenza, Parma, Reggio Emilia and Modena are mapped. Among the pages are described, with the help of maps and a rich photographic set, 7 cycle routes for Piacenza, 16 for Parma, 11 for Reggio Emilia and 12 for Modena for a total of 46 routes. Itineraries selected so as to be accessible to everyone, safe, enjoyable and recognizable in the area. The proposed routes have different lengths, for half-day or weekend outings. The possibility of connecting contiguous cycle routes is also indicated, in order to transform the outing into a week-long holiday.
