Parigi - Londra in bicicletta

The route, of approximately 450 km, develops almost entirely along the greenways (in French avenues vertes), routes for exclusive cycle and pedestrian use on the route of old disused railways connected to each other by a network of safe and low-traffic secondary roads. You leave Paris by pedaling north along the water's edge, along the city canals (Saint-Martin, Ourcq and Saint-Denis), then, along the course of the Seine and then that of the Oise or the Epte (depending on whether you choose one of the two alternatives to the route), you will pass through cities such as Chantilly, Senlis, Beauvais, Giverny, with the famous garden of water lilies portrayed by Monet, or the historic abbey of Royaumont. Having crossed Normandy, with its castles and farms, we embark in Dieppe to sail the English Channel and disembark, after four hours, in Newhaven. From here the road to London winds through the green hills of Sussex, between small villages and grazing flocks; along the river Wandle and therefore the banks of the Thames, you pass through a sequence of suburban parks until you reach Westminster Bridge, in the shadow of Big Ben and the London Eye.
