The Regional Bodies are working in this direction by fully applying community directives in the environmental field and, in particular, by coherently implementing the Natura 2000 Network project. Michele La Maida has collected a series of 13 excursion cards in which proposals for itineraries in institutionally "protected" areas (Parks, Reserves, SCI, Oases, etc.) falling in the Romagna provinces of Forlì-Cesena-Ravenna-Rimini, in the contiguous Marche province of Pesaro-Urbino, in the Tuscan province of Arezzo as well as one in the Umbrian province of Perugia.
