Heinz Grill is one of the best known characters in the German-speaking world of mountaineering, not for his sporting performances, but for his way of experiencing climbing: for Heinz it is aimed at seeking the ecstatic pleasure inherent in bodily gesture and in the relationship with the environment in which this is expressed. In the present volume, together with his great friend and companion Florian Kluckner, Heinz presents a selection of the best itineraries opened by them in the Dolomites, guiding the reader not only to repeat them, but also to discover the deeper "spiritual" riches that they contain . The itineraries are accompanied by stories of the climbs, made by the authors or their climbing partners, some with prestigious names also in Italy such as Ivo Rabanser. The photos and sketches, all by the first ascentionists themselves, guarantee the best quality also in the technical description of the itineraries, all of which are long in development and have mountaineering difficulties ranging between UIAA grade V and VII.
