What do trees transmit to you when you caress them? And what do the eyes of an animal free to express its nature tell us? Alfio was a man like many others, always in a hurry, crushed by responsibilities, by deadlines, before he met Fiocco, a donkey who he saved from an unfortunate fate and who in turn saved his life. His bond with the animal was immediately based on respect and freedom, outside the rigid patterns of species difference. Fiocco, without barriers, expressed all his intelligence, curiosity and determination, establishing a relationship of friendship and empathy with Alfio. Following the line of his ears, pointed towards the horizon, Alfio began to see the world differently. Knowing how to slow down, not giving ourselves a destination, "wasting time", because time without expectations expands our inner richness, abandoning ourselves in the woods without fear, sometimes off the beaten path, immersing ourselves in the beauty of nature, realigning ourselves with the his wild side.
