Via Flaminia in bicicletta

This guide, edited by Fabio Masotti, a cycle traveler who has drawn inspiration for his publications from his experiences and knowledge of the Sienese territory, is the first of a new series on consular routes and pilgrimage routes that Aska proposes in collaboration with the FIAB - Italian Federation of Friends of the Bicycle. Flaminia by bicycle is a journey from Rome to Rimini which punctually retraces the two routes of the Roman consular road - Flaminia vetus and Flaminia nova - through an area of absolute charm, rich in many historical highlights from the Roman era (bridges, constructions, archaeological sites), cities and small towns of extraordinary beauty, natural parks with the most diverse environmental connotations. The guide, divided into six stages regarding the Flaminia vetus route and one for the Narni-Foligno variant of the Flaminia nova, is accompanied by the altimetry of the route, a track downloadable on GPS, short information notes on the most significant centres, topic boxes historical, naturalistic, customs and gastronomic.
