And there are many suggestions that this wonderful mountain gives us. The most memorable is a manuscript by Leonardo da Vinci, fascinated by the white and very hard stone that was quarried right on the mountain. A rock comparable, in his opinion, to Tuscan marble, but harder. Centuries have passed, but the history of the Bracco rock has not been interrupted: today the paths of the quarrymen, but also those of the farmers or shepherds, are a network of paths that give us the emotions of an experience between nature and his stories. Those who travel the Mombracco paths are lucky enough to cross places of uncontaminated beauty, rich in native flora and fauna. And then, having reached the Certosa, looking at the steep rock face towards the plain, you will perhaps have the impression of seeing again some enigmatic anthropomorphic rock formations of landscapes that would seem to have come from the brush of the genius of Vinci.
