Il Sentiero del Passatore / Il Cammino Preistorico

The Sentiero del Passatore connects Florence to Faenza with 135 kilometers of beautiful, easy and marked paths that develop among uncontaminated and deserted nature alongside the road route of the most famous foot race, the 100 km del Passatore. The entire route was divided into seven daily stages, accessible to all, with overnight stays in managed facilities. The Prehistoric Way starts from Faenza or Brisighella and reaches Bologna in 6/7 days along 124 km of magnificent, easy and marked paths. The route passes alongside some natural cavities that can be visited where traces of man dating back 5-6000 years ago have been found. It is one of the few multi-stage trails that can be followed in all seasons, including winter. You sleep in managed facilities.
