Year: 2013 Format: 21x15 Pages: 352 Photos: col Hampi is a village located in south-western India, on the banks of the Tungabhadra river, among the ruins of the ancient city of Vijayanagara, capital of the empire of the same name which flourished between 14th and 17th centuries, although the village probably already existed when the city flourished. Even today the important religious center of the Virupaksha Temple is located here. It is an infinite succession of boulders and plateaus, between a blue river, palm trees, ancient times. The rocks are glittering gold in the evening light and the bouldering on these rocks is simply excellent. In English and German.
