Over the past few years, the Gotthard Pass has gradually become a favorite place as a summer bouldering area. Its location (blocks at 2000 meters above sea level) makes this place particularly pleasant during the hot summer days. The presence of lichens (which does not disturb the ascent to the boulders) gives similarity to the areas further north, totally different from those renowned in Ticino. Today there are 24 sectors and up to 800 climbs.
