Apuane 80 itinerari classici e d'avventura

This book was born on the solid foundations of Claudio Bocchi's Apuane hiking guide published in 2008. The number of itineraries has been expanded from 55 to 80 (94 if we take into account the proposed variants and access to the refuges) and the peaks reached by the routes are 63, including the 35 touched on in the previous edition. The book is, however, something different from an extension of the previous one; in fact, the itineraries already described, almost all of which have been re-proposed and with the updates that have become necessary in the meantime, have been enriched with some other routes of still traditional and 'classic' flavor and prestige, but many others of a slightly different nature have been added . They are part of the latter: routes up to lower and less renowned peaks than those normally visited by the usual routes, therefore less known to the Apuan hiker, but equally interesting; itineraries of marble and pastoral archaeology, which retrace the streets of Lizza and the paths of quarrymen or shepherds abandoned for a long time, chosen not only for their hiking value, but also and above all for their historical-cultural and even emotional value, which intimately links this kind of journeys into the experience and anthropology of these mountains, and described here before darkness falls.
