Alpages e conduttori d'alpeggio in Valle d'Aosta

By going up to visit some of the most characteristic mountain pastures of our region, we learned more about mountain life, that of sacrifice and toil, and discovered the profound bond that exists again, here in the Valley, between man and nature. It is the great passion of the arpian for cows, which encourages them to endure difficulties and inconveniences, with serenity, in their relationships with men -animal. Thanks to their work, sometimes in difficult and demanding terrain, and to their admirable attachment to the management of the mountain pastures, the farmers contribute to preventing the degradation of the mountains and, in their daily lives, manage the territory with care and respect.
