Alla scoperta della Val d'Adige

Enclosed between well-known and popular mountains such as the Stivo-Bondone and Baldo mountain chains, on one side, and the Vigolana and Zugna-Lessini mountain massifs on the other, the pre-Alpine sector of the Adige Valley that goes from the gates of Trento (Aldeno) to those of Verona (Parona) is often unfairly overlooked by hikers. The sides of the mountains that surround the most important of the large glacial valleys that affect the eastern sector of the Alpine arc from north to south are full of opportunities, especially for those who love walking away from the crowds. All the excursions described take place at a modest altitude, which oscillates between 60 meters above sea level and 1,200 meters at the Corno di Corlach and Doss Canoni: this means that they can be carried out practically all year round.
