This is a comprehensive guidebook covering the sport climbing, via ferrata, Deep Water Soloing (DWS) and multi-pitch rock climbing in Oman. The climbing covered is in the mountains between the cities of Muscat and Adam, and along the coast between Muscat and Sur. The style of climbing covered in the guidebook ranges from fully bolted sport routes to long alpine style multi-pitch routes many 100’s metres long. Just outside of Muscat is a Deep Water Soloing (DWS) area, plus there are via ferrata routes in the mountains. In total 26 separate climbing areas are covered that detail many 100’s of routes. At the start of each area is a location map and access information. All of the routes in the main guidebook are on colour photo topos, whilst a separate book has all the topo diagrams for the long multi-pitch routes. This is useful in that you are only carrying a small light book on the actual route.
